Geospherics is collaborating with Fischer Farms and Indiana University on a USDA-sponsored project to explore pathways to achieving carbon neutral/negative beef production. We were pleased to present our initial results at the 2025 ISRC conference using a Life Cycle Assessment to calculate the carbon footprint of beef from the Fischer Farms Ultimate Beef (FFUB) system. By using regenerative agricultural practices and incorporating natural dietary supplements, we found that the carbon “hoofprint” of FFUB is less than half the hoofprint of conventional beef!
